Head of the R&D group in North America, and responsible all product development activities from Europe for the North American markets. Head of the project management team in North America. The project management team supports the Bericap facilities in the US, Canada and Mexico. They lead all technical sales activities, development and customer timelines and plant communication. Head of the Technical Service dept. The service dept is compromised of 2 managers and 7 technicians working across North America, servicing all Bericap customers at their facilities. Head of the engineering group, including the best practices/continuous improvement engineering team. The engineering team is responsible for all capex budgets, RFQs, equipment procurement and approvals, plant layouts, new plant startup and installation, relocating and commissioning of production lines. The CI dept is responsible for implementing and standardizing all Bericap group best practices for production equipment, quality equipment, construction and utilities. Head of the injection process specialist team. This team is responsible for setting up and standardizing all injection process settings across the US, Canada and Mexico facilities. Head of the injection molds dept. in US, Canada and Mexico. Responsible for mold standards, new mold approvals, long and short term budget plans and overall mold maintenance strategies.

- Responsible for managing and setting up new projects at all four Bericap North America plants - Canada(1), USA (2), Mexico (1). This includes the developing the operating budget, scoping and ordering equipment (injection machines, injection molds, automation, downstream assembly, lab fixtures), setting up timelines and milestones, updating building infrastructure, organizing training, health & safety, start-up procedures and commercial product launch. - Responsible for capital budgets, equipment and tooling scope for all new RFQs for Bericap North America. - Responsible for the plant layout and operation efficiency for all four North America locations. - Responsible for injection mold design reviews and specifications for any new molds for all four North America locations. This includes working with tool shops in North America and Europe. - Responsible for maintaining all existing injection molds within the Bericap North America plants and working with external tool shops to coordinate repairs or rebuilds. - Responsible for new injection molding machines and working with OEMs to identify improvements and concerns on R&D projects. - Responsible for implementing new project management software using Microsoft Project Online and training the Project Managers and Sales team. - Member of the Operations team responsible for the launch of a new Bericap production facility in Mexico City in 2018. - Member for the Procure-Plus team. Responsibility includes initiating and managing cost savings ideas and projects for the Bericap North America - Operations group.

Managed project from concept phase to production. - Responsible for implementing new project management software using Microsoft Project Online and training the Project Managers and Sales team. - Member of the Operations team responsible for the launch of a new Bericap production facility in Mexico City in 2018. - Member for the Procure-Plus team. Responsibility includes initiating and managing cost savings ideas and projects for the Bericap North America - Operations group.

•Responsible for managing tool builds and tooling issues for various Magna divisions in North America. Responsible for the master project plan, with progressive levels of detail for each project. •Created timelines and organized meetings to coordinate various tool builds, changes and repairs. •Organized and maintained the open issues list between customer and supplier. •Quoted repairs and organized schedules/work orders to have tools repaired. •For the new tool builds, managed the program starting with the initial feasibility studies, approval of the proposed design concepts and ending with the production ready tool delivered to the customer. •Performed stress, strain, deflection and pressure calculations for steel block sizes used for tooling. •Update the excel quote model for estimating the costs for new tools. This spreadsheet used visual basics programming to determine the price and timing based on data from tooling history. •Organized data to track the efficiency of the machining department on a daily basis and create reports for continuous improvement in the manufacturing process by reducing downtime. •Set up a lean manufacturing area for the machining department using 5S tools. •Travel to Magna divisions within Canada and USA to help resolve tooling issues.

•Responsible for managing the launch and current production of the Magna Closures/Chrysler door carrier panels for the Chrysler & Dodge minivans and Chrysler Sebring sedan and convertible. •Responsible for managing daily production, customer change request, project timelines and overall inventory for the program. •Also responsible for overseeing the molding tools, installation of new machinery, new assembly workstations and the plant layout. •Managed several injection compression molding issues, which included setting up DOEs, organizing data collection and trials and finding solutions to any molding and tooling related issues. Reduced scrap from 5% of sales at the launch of the program to 1% at current production. •Managed the setup of the assembly equipment and plant readiness for the launch of the new Headliner assembly business and sequence lines at our satellite facility in Woodstock, ON which delivered assembled headliners to the GM-Cami Assembly plant. •Established and managed the Ergonomics committee within the plant and improved from a Red level to a Yellow-Green level in a span of 6 months, with minimal spending. •Worked on continuous improvement projects to save over $1.75 million per year for the company.

Was part of the Decoma Developmental Engineer training program, where the first year is spent in the Magna Int tool shop, to learn how tools & dies are designed, manufactured and quoted. The training included hands on work with the tool makers at Tycos, spending time with the tool designers and quoting changes to the tools for various Magna divisions.

• Assisted with molding trials for new material development & part design. • Designed and helped build test fixtures & performed material property testing as per ISO and ASTM standards in the accredited lab, and wrote lab reports based on the results.

Established a suitable procedure and guidelines for the welding application and fixture. • Assisted the thermoplastic-composites team with various six sigma and CI projects. • Calibrated and set up new machinery to run with the existing injection compression molding machine, as a part of various projects to understand and improve this molding process.

As part of a fourth year project, I researched the applications of sustainable technology to help people living in third world countries. The main focus of this project was to find a way to help the poor farmers in Guatemala irrigate their land during the dry season.
