l have CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network +, CompTIA Server+, CompTIA Linux+ and stackable certifications of: CompTIA CIOS, CompTIA CSSS, CompTIA CNIP, and CompTIA CLNP. I obtained skills in HTML, JavaScript, SQL, and Python. I also have extensive knowledge in cybersecurity, networking, implementing and maintaining Linux systems, and computer/laptop repair. I am comfortable working in the domain environment as I have worked with Windows Server 2019. As well, I do a lot of tutoring and mentoring of computers and related problems to date. Over the past 20 years I have been studying Cybersecurity and keeping up-to-date with alerts from Homeland Security, US-CERT, and other security bulletins. I have very good communications skills, work ethics, and I have a passion for learning new technologies and skills. I was responsible for setting up new computers; installing Windows and vendor updates, and upgrading the BIOS. Joining them to the network and set up the user profile, their printers, and any mapped drives through scripts written by my employer. As well, I also set up users in Microsoft 365; assigned/reclaimed licenses. I was also responsible for day-to-day operations that included: Maintaining the corporate firewall that I modified, configured, and set to the highest level. I created firewall, anti-malware, and on-demand filtering for a 24/7 security. It was tested on a test machine and I allowed the proprietary applications/websites access by creating exceptions based on ports and protocols. Cybersecurity awareness was tested daily because of the amount of phishing/email scams that come through the email. I also tested Active Directory policies as added through Group Policy Management by my employer. I cleaned up DNS and Active Directory of unused users and computers. I also rebuilt laptops/desktops as need be. I was very resourceful using Google to resolve problems. I did back up and restoring of computers using Windows Image backup. I used software to resize and move partitions until they are able to merge. Then, they are upgraded to Windows 11. I also used Clonezilla to do disk cloning. I also set up Cisco Anywhere Connect. Installing it and testing on Windows 10. Doing Power-on settings through the BIOS to allow power on from sleep; changing network adapter settings to allow it. I also used remote management software to manage systems throughout the network. Other tasks included MDM of tablets and phones. Privacy and security are very important to me. I am also responsible for crimping, testing or RJ45 CAT 6 cabling, server, patch panel connections and ip phones. I am up for the challenge to any task.
