I translated from Spanish and then re-wrote the copy of 80+ scripts that are now live audios on the Emjoy app. These include guided meditation-style practices for increasing sex drive, libido, pleasure and desire; narrative sessions based on scientific research and findings from sex therapists; erotic short stories; and much more. I wrote articles for the Emjoy blog, including sex and relationship advice, funny guides, cultural commentaries and in-depth explorations of the science behind desire, libido and more. As Content Manager I oversaw all of the copy written in English and was often translating content. I worked with marketing texts and SEO copy as well as creative writing and scriptwriting.

I was commissioned by Erika Lust and Pablo Dobner to write a treatment, and then the full script for the pilot for a short series for HBO. Eventually we expanded the project and released it for free on the web, and I worked closely with Erika writing the 6 episodes.

I was approached by VICE to cover the Living Wage strikes at Topshop after covering Reclaim Brixton in Dazed and Confused Magazine, and through my work at Erotic Review. Interviewing people for the "Swingers" piece was one of the most enjoyable jobs I've ever done. Navigating a territory I am unfamiliar with whilst trying to draw out a good story is something I revel in. News reporting with a human edge, as VICE do, is a perfect fit to my writing style and my personal interests. I continue to work freelance for them, roughly being commissioned for one article per month.

I contribute every month to Miniguide writing on a number of subjects, including Album Reviews, LGBTQIA+ Events/clubs/bars and Gigs and Music Festivals, all based in Barcelona.

TEN WOMEN was part of Ovalhouse's FiRST BiTES series of new performance pieces, in development and presented as work-in-progress showings. Jackdaw have been supported by the Arts Council England, received 5 Off-West End award nominations, and a nomination for the prestigious Ian Charleston award for Ella Turner as Best Actress in her role as Fanny in Hindle Wakes.

The National Theatre is central to the creative life of the country. In its three theatres on the South Bank in London it presents an eclectic mix of new plays and classics from the world repertoire, with seven or eight productions in repertory at any one time. And through an extensive programme of amplifying activities – Platform performances, backstage tours, foyer music, publications, exhibitions and outdoor events – it recognises that theatre doesn't begin and end with the rise and fall of the curtain.

‘Pornography’ by Simon Stephens is a hard-hitting play about the monumental week in 2005 which saw London winning the Olympic bid, Live 8, and the 7/7 bombings. "Special mention should be made of Daisy Bata's “student”... And, sure, there's nothing ickier than a critic more-or-less old enough to be the actress-in-question's father praising their handling of on-stage sexuality, but there it is. Those are two of the more difficult parts in the play, parts which make actual demands of the performer beyond speaking convincingly, and both Bata and Templeman-Young actually did the best job with the parts that I've seen British actresses do.
