• Managing the GESS Awards nomination process; confirming categories for the year, ensuring the website and forms are up to date, confirming independent panels of judges on an annual basis and coordinating with them to create a smooth judging process. • Tracking and maintaining accurate records of seats sold and generating comprehensive reports to monitor progress and measure success. • Ensuring all sponsorship agreements are fulfilled. • Orchestrating the seamless execution of the awards evening, assuming responsibilities such as liaising with hotels, creating seating plans, coordinating onsite collateral (scripts, menus, slides, signage), collaborating with AV companies, managing the host, and engaging entertainment and other suppliers as needed.

• Proactively identified and established strategic partnerships with prominent education associations and key stakeholders, effectively engaged them to support and participate in GESS events. • Contributed to the development and execution of a comprehensive social media strategy, including targeted audience profiling and the cultivation of the brand's unique voice. • Supported in the implementation of strategic marketing plans, conducted market research, competitive analysis, and identified/segmented target audiences. • Actively identified and connected with notable speakers and schools, fostering productive collaborations to enhance the quality and diversity of GESS conferences. • Maintained and regularly updated the websites, ensuring accurate information is available in both English and Arabic. • Managed keynote speaker bookings; accommodation, flights, transportation, and other administrative tasks associated with conference logistics. • Disseminate relevant insights and information on the latest education trends and topics of interest to the rest of the team through research and intelligence gathered through meeting with the education community on a regular basis. • Secured all necessary DTCM permits for event operations for GESS Dubai and GESS Awards. • Successfully boosted attendance of key members within the teaching community in strategic regions through targeted marketing initiatives and campaigns. • Spearheaded the creation and management of the GESS Leaders in Education Summit events that were held in Kenya (2018), Nigeria (2019), Oman (2022) and Nigeria (2023). This included partnering with the Ministries of Education in the respective countries, budgeting for the events, confirming speakers and producing the conference agendas, coordinating with the venues and different suppliers on the ground to ensure running smooth events logistically.
