Consulting as supervisor for the BSc course 'Introduction to environmental sciences'. I supervise two groups of 10 students working on a case regarding a major problem in one of the five climate zones around the world. Previous experience: - 2016: supervised 2 groups as freelance consultant.

Student Assistent in the BSc course 'Introduction to environmental sciences' in 2013 and 2014. I supervised one or two groups of 9-12 students who were working on a case regarding a major problem in one of the five climate zones around the world. - Student Assistent in the MSc course 'Plants and health' in 2014. I supervised two groups of 4 students performing a small research project on the expression of several recombinant proteins in plants.

Second MSc thesis, partly performed in The Netherlands and partly in Finland.

Member of the Study Program Committee for the bachelor Plant Sciences, and the masters Plant Sciences and Plant Biotechnology. Goal was to improve education with the program director, study advisors, lecturers and students.

First MSc thesis at the Laboratory for Molecular recognition and Antibody technology (LMA) in the department of Nematology (NEMA) of Wageningen University (WUR) on transient expression of recombinant proteins in N. benthamiana plants. Results were taken up in the PhD thesis of L.B. Westerhof 'Plants as a production platform for high-value proteins' (2014) and published in Frontiers in Plant Science (2015). Second MSc thesis at LMA NEMA WUR and VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland on transient and stable expression of recombinant proteins in plants and plant cells. 2012, Participated in the Rijk Zwaan Experience at Rijk Zwaan, De Lier. Together with three group mates I worked on three cases about plant breeding and marketing. 2013, Participated in the Enza Zaden Student Experience at Enza Zaden, Enkhuizen. The case study of my group was on prototyping a new society, the role of a breeding company in future societies.

Participated in the Summer School Green Genetics at Wageningen UR. Program included lectures on plant breeding and visits to breeding companies.

Bachelor thesis at the department of Horticultural Production Chains on light spectrum related induction of leaf epinasty in Chrysanthemum.

Gymnasium, Chr. Scholengemeenschap Het Willem van Oranje College, Waalwijk, The Netherlands. Diploma: 3 July 2008. My paper for graduating secondary school was entitled ‘Maji bila chumvi’, which is Shwalili for ‘water without salt’. This business plan dealed with the question how desalination can be used successfully in a third world country. With this paper I applied, together with my group mates, for the Imagine project of the Technical University of Delft.
