My practice is concentrated in the areas of construction, surety, and fidelity law. I provide advice and assistance in all areas of construction law from contract drafting and negotiation to dispute resolution. I regularly represent owners, developers, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers in the construction arena. My surety law experience includes investigation and defense of performance and payment bond claims and various miscellaneous commercial bond claims; negotiation and drafting of takeover agreements, tender agreements, and financing arrangements with principals; investigation and pursuit of salvage from various sources, and filing of claims and other pleadings and motions in bankruptcy courts. My fidelity law practice involves investigating claims, providing coverage opinions, defending claims from insureds and others, and pursuit of salvage for losses. I recently represented a fidelity carrier and national REIT in employee theft cases that resulted in several multi-million dollar judgments.
