As Executive Director of Northern Neck Connection since April of 2009, I manage all program operations including building website content, overseeing email groups, and handling marketing, events, and strategic planning for Northern Neck Connection. Northern Neck Connection is an online resource that promotes community information and interaction. The website connects citizens with more than 400 nonprofit and civic organizations in the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula and encourages the public to engage with a variety of social concerns including education, arts and culture, health, human needs, economic development, seniors and public safety, among others. Northern Neck Connection helps local groups communicate with area residents about their missions and to publicize their events, volunteer opportunities, job openings, and other information so that people can easily find the services they need or discover ways to get involved in community affairs. We believe that by helping nonprofits work effectively and by advocating a culture of philanthropic support, the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula can a stronger community with enhanced economic stability and high quality of life. Our Services are free and open to all citizens.

Real Estate Salesperson - Worked closely with clients to successfully complete the process of buying or selling a home. As acting agent in the selling process, researched and priced properties competitively, prepared listing documents and marketing tools. As acting agent in the buying process, researched properties meeting the criteria of the buyer, acted as liaison in contract negotiations and meeting closing requirements. Property Manager - Managed 28 unit duplex/townhouse complex. Acted as agent for the owner in the application, leasing, tenancy, court collection and possession processes. General office bookkeeping.

General Manager - On-site management of 28 room motel. Customer service, general office bookkeeping, supervised 6 employees and managed the day to day operations of the business. Supervised a 10-room renovation project to completion.

Worked as a legal assistant and paralegal in the fields of estate administration, litigation, real estate, personal injury and corporate law.
