Cynthia Garcia Williams

I’m a Los Angeles-based writer and director rooted in Cuban and Mexican heritage. My work draws from ancestral faith and lived experience to tell grounded, deeply human stories.I was a fellow in Netflix Inclusion Fellowship and selected for the Alliance of Women Directors mentorship program. My work has screened at festivals including Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival, Slamdance Film Festival, and the Georgia International Film Festival. My debut feature, We’re Not Married, is currently streaming on Tubi.I’m also the creator of the vertical micro-drama series Santos, which won an award in the 2025 ReelShorts contest.I’m currently developing a slate of feature films and series across drama and genre, alongside vertical storytelling for emerging platforms.
