* Supervising a team of 5 accounts assistants * Arranging 1-2-1s on a fortnightly basis * Dealing with complex invoice queries * Assisting in the implementation of new clients * Ensuring all supplier invoices are paid correctly and adhering to payment terms * Attending fortnightly aged debt meetings with senior management * Assisting in weekly bank reconciliations * Reviewing debt balances * Managing unallocated cash * Ensuring all sales invoices are distributed on time * Managing the AP/AR email inbox and ensuring all queries are resolved by the team

* Investigating and resolving invoice and payment queries for suppliers * Responsible for inputting a high volume of invoices * Matching, batching and coding of invoices * Weekly payment run, Bacs and Cheques * Sending out remittances * Checking and reconciling supplier statements * Account allocations * Supporting wider finance team on an ad-hoc basis, especially around month end

* Attending staff training every month and completing health and safety competences * Checking and recording PH of pool every two hours * Continually reviewing health and safety updates and ensuring full compliance

* Providing a safe and hygienic leisure environment to all Shell staff * Member of the organisation committee for Shell international Swimathon 2013 raising over £5,000 for Marie Curie cancer care * Monitor and report pool water quality on a daily, weekly and monthly basis * Promoting water safety through swim instruction for a range of abilities
