Manage Asian ODM ME team and perform mechanical design to scale Facebook’s infrastructure • Designed and shipped Facebook’s media hub for video conferencing and associated mounting kit The mechanical product design teams are a cross functional resource who work with the other hardware teams at Facebook to deliver data center and connectivity products that form the core of our physical infrastructure. We bring together many teams’ requirements, such as serviceability, airflow, reliability, manufacturability, etc., and combine those into a product design that meets our cost targets. The team includes industrial designers, mechanical engineers, prototyping specialists and technicians. Most of our production hardware is open sourced in the Open Compute Project (OCP) or the Telecom Infrastructure Project (TIP).
