Born and raised in Texas, Curtis came to Bridgeport via Peace Corps then graduate school at UConn. He has lived and worked in Downtown Bridgeport for 5 years for the City and is passionate about Bridgeport. He has spent more than a decade in the private and public sector using geospatial technologies to visualize and analyze data from global to localized geographies to improve decisions making and understanding on a diverse number of issues. He believes that technology and data can improve people’s lives by improving the understanding how different choices impact the individual and the community.
