As the Principle Investigator, I research engineering solutions in support of opportunities for COCOMs, DoD Agencies and OGAs to leverage the military Services’ M&S and training system capabilities available through Team Orlando. JTIEC also works to strengthen relationships between Service M&S and training system developers for the purpose of jointly supporting COCOMs, DoD Agencies, and OGAs.

Lead Engineer International 4:3:1 Cross Connect. Team leader in firmware development projects, system boot, system self test, feature development, and system architecture. High output, short cycle development environment working to produce a new class of digital cross connect. Developed in C language, UNIX scripting and assembly language using various development tool environments. 1981 * 1991: AT&T Bell Labs * Westminster, CO. Business Communications Systems Development. Software and hardware tool development, Private Branch Exchange (PBX) testing technologies, hardware development tools, and PBX equipment development, with lead software engineer responsibilities.

US Army AMRDEC supporting Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Deputy Lead responsibilities included development and oversight of tools and processes for MDA Modeling and Simulation: Executive Dashboard (MSED), Simulation Tool(MSST) – Issue Reports, Catalog, Critical Engagement Criteria, Performance Parameters, Visualization Tools (MSVT)

Principle Investigator and Team Lead for the Learning Technologies Lab. The lab’s primary charter was to experiment with the appropriate application of emerging technologies to US Navy training curriculum. Focus areas included Open Source Training Solutions, low-cost training based on commercial gaming technologies, Learning Management Systems and Integrated Learning Environments for game based training environments. June 2002 – July 2004 – NAVAIR Training Systems Division, Orlando, Fl Systems engineering responsibilities for the On-Board Team Trainer – Master Controller for the USS Virginia class of submarine (Next Generation Submarine). Support of government oversight and testing for software development efforts.
