Started with the support in NPI. Successfully helped the company to establish Supplier Evaluation Criteria, Supplier Aduit, and ISO Procedure in these specific areas. In mid 2005, led the Procurement group in Cost Reduction, Materials Management, and Outsourcing Strategy. Succesfully achieved Cost Reduction target year after year. Developed team competence and committment. Currently focus on Suppy Assurance, and Supplier Relationship Management as well as Continuous Cost Reduction and Business Improvement with the team.

Manage supply assurance, cost negotiation, purchasing team and product development

Managed New Product Introduction Teams in launching customer products within or exceed customer expectation. The team covers sourcing, quoting, supplier audit and Project Management. Key accounts with products successfully launched: MDS Sciex and Christie Digital (Projector for Texas Instrument). Key achievement: Consolidation of commodities through main distributors with over $2M savings per year, and recoginzed by the customers as a key player in their product development process and teams.

Managed Procurement, Warehouse, Shipping & Receiving of 25 employees. Streamlined the RFQ process, and Cost Reduction Program provided savings of over $5M in 2 years. Key achievements: Successfully managed the transition of products for 2 key customers from Vancouver site to Toronto site without any interruption. The transition team was recognized of it's effort and dedication. Supported the migration from MRP System (Expandable) to ERP System (JD Edwards - One World).

Managed the Procurement, Manufacturing and Monitoring Station of 20 employees. Developed key relationship with Nanjing Government in China to utilize our wireless security system with the Product Markeing and Sales Team.

Managed 3 teams of 14 employees in global procurement supporting 6 factories for both production and development projects with join venture development customers such as NEC and Sharp. Key achievements: Succesfully secured all material without premium to launch a customer product (Amstrad in the UK) in 3 months. Developed commodity experts in 3 teams to cover all aspects of requirement. Core Team Member in BSI and ISO Certification in 1987 (3rd company obtained the certification in Contract Manufacturing in Asia).

Obtained Honor Roll in Materials Management in Operations Management. Completed CPIM, and Purchasing Management. Additional study in Total Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, and obtained the basic principle of Lean Manufacturing
