- Developed hardware automation systems from conception to completion for a pre-seed biotech startup, working closely with a small technical team and mentoring an intern in design and fabrication methods - Designed and manufactured custom parts in metal and biocompatible plastics using SolidWorks, CNC, and 3D printing to enable rapid experimentation - Programmed automation systems using Arduino, National Instruments data acquisitions, and LabVIEW, integrating PID control for microfluidic systems, motors and sensors - Delivered weekly updates to company founders on milestones essential for investor relations and funding goals

- Prototyped medical devices using CNC machining, 3D printing and injection molding, applying a minimum viable product approach to rapidly iterate and improve designs - Developed a prototype medical device to improve colonoscopy visualization, safety, and efficiency, using biocompatible silicone and skin-safe materials - Co-authored an award-winning research paper submitted to ACG’s 2024 Scientific Meeting Joint affiliation with MIT and Harvard Medical School
