I represented an Australian charity Canteen. Through this I gained a lot of confidence in myself having to generate my own clientele through using a small kiosk and grabbing by passers attention in order for me to let the public address them and pitch the suitable candidate to get ongoing monthly financial support. Being commission based was a massive challenge but being able to help the sick children of Australia was very rewarding.

As part of this role I would make various kinds and large quantities of sandwiches/rolls in a timely manner and also serve customers and make coffees. Working on the cashier and general cleaning within the business.

Being a support worker maintaining a strong independence of living at home for the elderly was very important. I would assist in driving my clients to and from appointments and doing their household management to ensure they kept their independence.

* Being second in charge for Supre I managed a team of ten, with only being in a causal position for six months promoted to assistant manager was thrilling. I learnt the difference between being a friend and a boss very quick with a lot of challenges from my team not accepting a younger person as their manager but overcame any objectives with succeeding within my role. * My duties included: * Interviewing candidates, Coaching employees, ongoing training and continuous evaluating of the team where improvements needed to made * Accounting/ general running of the business with a very strict loss prevention structure to ensure minimising stock theft * Creative merchandising was a skill I learnt though displays of clothing and defining my store into appropriate sections required. This was a daily task making sure our best selling stock was placed correctly to ensure maximum profit. * Ordering stock, invoicing and transferring on a daily basis.
