About

Working with territory, culture, and olive oil is at the core of my practice. I am the founder of LIÁ, producing a single-estate, monovarietal, award-recognised extra virgin olive oil in Messinia, Greece, alongside education, tastings, and the LIÁ Olive Oil Hub. With a background in Art History and Italian language, my work is shaped by storytelling, material culture, and place-based thinking. I approach olive oil not only as a product, but as a cultural medium — one that connects land, people, tradition, and innovation. A central part of my work is olive oil education and tasting. I design and lead sensory experiences for professionals, international audiences, institutions, and cultural contexts, exploring olive oil as taste, narrative, and lived experience. Our work focuses on cultivating and producing olive oil with attention to timing, freshness, and character — prioritizing transparency and consistency over volume or shortcuts. LIÁ operates within a harvest-driven model, releasing only the oil of each season and avoiding long-term storage or stock-based production. The goal is simple: to produce olive oil that reflects where it comes from and how it is made, without relying on marketing narratives to replace substance. LIÁ has been internationally recognised for its monovarietal extra virgin olive oil.
