My role at Think Bright Education extends beyond founder and operations. I also lead partnerships and grants, focusing on building meaningful connections with community and government organisations. Through this work, we aim to create pathways for brokerage and funding, increasing access to our programs for young people who need it most, including those experiencing school refusal or school can’t, and other vulnerable learners.

Founder, Lead Mentor & Educator. I established Think Bright Education, to provide personalised online teaching and mentoring for children, tweens, teens, and young people. I specialise in supporting students experiencing school refusal, school anxiety, or disengagement, alongside foundational literacy, writing, and learning skills. I work with homeschooling families, travelling families, and students who need extra support, always tailoring lessons and mentoring sessions to build confidence, curiosity, resilience, and a love of learning. Through mentoring, I help young people reconnect with school, develop purpose through passion projects, and regain social and academic engagement. I also support students and their families, offering guidance and strategies to best support their child’s learning and wellbeing.

• Provide evidence-based literacy support for early years learners through tailored one-on-one and small group virtual sessions. • Plan structured lessons based on individual learning needs and goals, incorporating interactive games and activities. • Conduct assessments to track progress, inform instruction, and provide ongoing feedback to parents.

Planned and launched Leap Street’s first Online School Readiness Program for children aged 4–6, focusing on engaging phonics-based group lessons. Planned and researched Learning Management Systems. • Led strategic planning and organizational development initiatives, contributing to company-wide growth and alignment with values. • Managed major partner relationships to ensure program goals and long-term collaboration. • Designed and delivered engaging virtual career advisory sessions for students, supporting educators in curriculum alignment. • Utilized CRM systems to track engagement metrics and manage communications effectively.

• Mentored 80 student leaders annually in the SRC leadership program, fostering student involvement and agency. • Organised 100+ students into 16 leadership teams for the Year 6 Service-Learning Program, promoting community engagement. • Designed and implemented the Year 5 Leadership Development Conference, preparing students for leadership roles through workshops and activities.

Classroom Teacher: Delivered student-centred, inclusive learning experiences with a focus on high expectations. Used pedagogical leadership to create an engaging environment that promoted critical thinking and problem-solving in the classroom.

Enrichment Coordinator: Led targeted enrichment programs in English and Maths for high-achieving students (Years 3-6), planned and supported differentiated tasks across year levels for teachers, promoting academic excellence and tailored learning experiences.

Fostered inclusion by developing and teaching individualised learning plans for students with diverse learning, behavioural, and special needs. Collaborated with stakeholders to enhance engagement, skill-building, goal-setting, and academic performance.

Spent 9 years at Kew East Primary School Year 3 and 4 Classroom Teacher and Level Coordinator with extensive experience delivering engaging programs aligned with the Victorian Curriculum. • Worked in Prep and across the Early Years team, supporting strong foundations in literacy, numeracy and early writing development. • Led the planning of Literacy, Numeracy and Inquiry units, ensuring consistency and strong skill development across the year level. • Mentored VIT graduate teachers, supporting their professional growth, curriculum planning and classroom practice. • Led Year 3 and 4 teams in collaborative planning and evidence based teaching practices. • Led the Staff Wellbeing Team, introducing initiatives to strengthen morale and build a positive, connected school culture. • Facilitated a short independent film celebrating students achieving their pen licence in Year 3 and 4, showcasing perseverance, handwriting progress and student pride.
