Responsible for Internal Logistics and Production Planning and Control. 200+ employees.

Leads unit supply management professionals in support of the Supply Chain Integration (SCI) and Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP- similar to APQP). Leads and mentors the supply management team for SCI and EPDP to ensure project implementation meeting cost, schedule, quality and delivery goals for new product programs. Integrates with the Order Fulfillment Process (OFP) to ensure seamless transition of new product programs to production. - Achievements: Supply Management representative in a new product implementation (investments around $65M) - Direct reports: ~12

Started as Quality Engineer and then moved to team leader for the Tactical Supplier Quality been responsible for: • Incoming Inspection initiatives (logistics, purchased parts, initial samples) • Production Support efforts (containment action at part and product level for purchased parts) • Supplier Non Conforming material disposition • Metallurgical LAB (metallic analysis scope) • Corrective Actions with suppliers (6 months after the production start for local suppliers and full time for overseas suppliers). 8D, DMAIC, Quality Tools • Scrap and remover metrics and mitigation • Third part contract (inspection and rework) • Support to supplier quality group Continuous Improvement initiatives - Award of Quality Process Analyst at ASQ (American Society for Quality) - Award: Latin America 3rd place in the Business Improvement Conference 2013 (México) as the leader of a 6Sigma Project to reduce and recovery supplier scrap. - International experience: 3 months benchmarking and shadowing the Quality Engineering Processes (Iowa-USA) Quase cinco anos de contribuição com a área Tática de Qualidade de Fornecedores. Iniciei como membro e depois fui escolhido para a posição de líder do time. Possuía responsabilidade sobre ações corretivas para fornecedores, gestão de não conformes, inspeção de recebimento, contenção nas linhas de produção, laboratório metalúrgico, dentre outros.

During the 7 years that I collaborated for ECS Brasil I had the opportunity to work in different areas such as: PP&C, Manufacturing Engineering and Research and Development. In PCP I was responsible for production planning and programming. I was also a team member to implement Kaban, ERP, SMED. In the Manufacturing Engineering I was member/leader of projects to implement the Lean Manufacturing (celular layout, VSM, setup optimization, etc). I also worked with methods and process analisys, time keeping, project and implementation of tooling and devices for pressing and spot welding. I acquired deep understanding of manufacturing process like sinterization, resistence welding and assembly. In R&D my focus was on cost reduction initiatives (40% in some cases). Durante os 7 anos de atuação na ECS Brasil (Krug) tive a oportunidade de trabalhar em várias áreas como: PCP, Eng de Processos e P&D. Na área de PCP fui responsável pelo planejamento e programação da produção . Tive a oportunidade de participar de projetos como implementação de Kanban, implementação de sistema ERP, otimização de setups, etc. Na Eng de Processos pude participar de projetos voltados ao lean manufacturing como implementação de layout celular, VSM, redução de setup. Além da interação com estas ferramentas que trouxeram mudanças significativas nos negócios da empresa, também trabalhei com definição de métodos e processos, cronoanálise, projetos de ferramentas de prensagem e dispositivos de soldagem por resistência. Também pude adquirir significativa experiência nos processos de metalurgia do pó, sinterização, solda a ponto e montagem. Na área de Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento tive atuação focada na readequação da composição dos produtos e redefinição de processos com o objetivos de drásticas reduções de custos nos produtos finais. Para algumas linhas de produto, as pesquisas e projetos implementados trouxeram reduções na ordem de 40%, mantendo os requisitos do cliente.
