Responsible for the effective management of the strategic sourcing team. ▪ Global Sourcing experience, identifying and nominating new suppliers, developing commercial relationships; ▪ Aligning with the most competitive suppliers/manufacturers that provide the lowest total cost; ▪ Delivering cost reduction by total cost of ownership through supplier management processes, outsourcing and process improvement; ▪ NPI (New Product Introduction), leading the early stage of NPI programs, driving strategic sourcing support (suppliers identification/qualification) while leveraging of existing source base. Securing the supply chain pipe line for initial production build of NPI; ▪ Implementing and managing logistics programs such as Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), Bonded Inventory Management (BIM), Consignment Agreement, Buffer stock, etc; ▪ Develop internal relationships, influencing key internal customers to promote professional purchasing principals across the business ensuring timely communication and problem resolution; ▪ Suppliers Performance Assessment, identifying improvement opportunities, and drive escalation process; ▪ Define, develop and provide regular reporting as required by the Business and Department Heads, including Key Performance Metrics for supply chain management ▪ Solid understanding of the total business operation to include material procurement, order entry, forecasting, manufacturing, invoicing, customer returns, inventory levels and on-time delivery; ▪ Core/Key user in BaaN ERP system implementation; ▪ Specialist in ERP (Enterprise resource planning) systems such BaaN, Mapics; ▪ Specialist in Business Objects reporting solutions for BaaN systems.
