• Responsible for all sourcing activity across America’s and Asia Pacific ($300mm in spend) • Developed, implemented and measured “Total Cost of Productivity” effort across the company focusing on Materials, Labor, Overhead & SG&A reduction. • Developed Global Supplier Certification Program and led a cross functional team to implement across all functional groups within company • Developed and initiated program to move all suppliers to Net 60 day payment terms even though Thermadyne had entered into bankruptcy in 2002-3. • Led global strategic sourcing events across critical commodity groups such as Packaging, Forgings, Printed Circuit Boards, Copper/Brass Bars, Machined Components, Consumable Tips and Castings • Helped put in place WOFE in Ningbo, China and develop sourcing processes to drive cost reduction across the company.

Responsible for leading a decentralized procurement group to achieve annual cost savings of 10% on a materials base of $400 million across numerous United States manufacturing operations.  Led sourcing events for glass, packaging, hardware, cell phones, office supplies, promotional goods and temporary labor.  Improved net working capital by over 50%, by developing and leading an initiative which moved all suppliers to Net 60 day payment terms.  Reduced waste by 20% and improved utilization by implementing a glass optimization project across multiple facilities.

• Primary responsibilities were to lead and guide a centralized procurement staff to support ~40 Customer Service Centers across US, Mexico and Canada. o Managed close to $300mm in spend in Food & Beverage and $100mm in Indirect Spend o Utilized management by Fact (MBF) process to annually achieve an average cost take out goal of $9-$10mm. o Assisted on Product Design/Engineering to assist Sales Team in winning customer RFQ’s through implementation of strategic sourcing process. o Helped drive a global quality system across all CSC’s (Haccp oriented)
