I am part of an AI Trailblazer group at Riverside College, with a simple belief: learning works best when it is fun, practical, and genuinely engaging. I firmly believe in using AI to enhance learning and increase efficiency. My main strength is close attention to detail, whether I am teaching, assessing, or building safety critical learning content. I am a Hydrogen and Welding Tutor and IQA at Riverside College Widnes and Runcorn. I teach welding at Level 2 and Level 3, and I support adult learners across the Liverpool City Region, including EAL Level 1 Intro to Welding. I use VR welding technology to speed up skills development and build confidence faster. I wrote and deliver our Hydrogen Awareness course for adult learners in the Liverpool City Region. Alongside this, I teach online inside virtual reality with Educators in VR, helping educators explore practical VR for teaching, training, and learner engagement. I also deliver Photogrammetry with Phones and Photogrammetry with Drones courses, focusing on capture technique, planning, and reliable workflows. Previously, I worked part time with HydrogenSafe from 2020 to 2024 as a Champion and advocate, and I worked at The Welding Academy from 2017 to 2019.

In addition to teaching welding at Levels 2 and 3, I use VR welding technology to accelerate skill development and improve learner confidence and consistency before live welding. I also deliver EAL Level 1 Introduction to Welding programmes for adult learners across the Liverpool City Region, supporting progression into further training and employment.
