I am passionate about Professional Construction Education! Currently I am the Director of the Building Construction Science Program at Mississippi State University, where I hold the Roy Anderson Endowed Professorship. I am Certified Professional Constructor and Licensed General Contractor (North Carolina) with extensive construction experience on unique and challenging projects. I've held a number of positions from tradesman to division director for a variety of high-end residential and large commercial general contractors. I have also been involved with professional construction education as faculty, program coordinator, program head and interim dean. Additionally I am the founding Director of both an Undergraduate and Graduate programs. I am actively involved and hold leadership positions in the American Council of Construction Education (ACCE), Associated Schools of Construction (ASC) and the Associated General Contractors of America Education and Research Foundation (AGCERF), American Institute of Constructors (AIC), and the National Institute of Building Sciences (NIBS).
