* Responsible for recruiting for corporate positions while following OFCCP practices * Administers and monitors new hire orientation * Manages and processes the tuition reimbursement program from employee application to reimbursement * Onboarding all corporate employees into our HRIS system, ADP, in a timely manner * Verifies I-9 documentation through the DHS’s E-Verify system and follows through with necessary actions * Provides data to UCExpress for unemployment claims for US corporate paid employees * Audits all US & Canada branch data entry of new hires, promotions, demotions, payroll information and provides appropriate resolution to any discrepancies * First point of contact for all employee issues or updates regarding payroll, benefits and personal information * Participated in company committees for 3 quarters including the newsletter committee (2 quarters) and employee lunch committee (1 quarter)

* Volunteered 250 + hours * Motivated 45 incoming freshman to be positive members of the university community * Facilitated activities and guided freshman around the Twin Cities to help reduce overwhelming stress that can come from an unfamiliar large city setting to help improve retention rates

* Facilitates company-wide recruiting initiatives by reviewing candidates, conducting interviews, representing the Twins at local career fairs and onboarding candidates * Participates in college recruiting events across the state, represented the Minnesota Twins at the 2015 Power in Diversity Leadership Conference and networks with many other diversity student groups * Coordinates benefits and MLB's College Scholarship Plan by arranging swift reimbursement to students and their universities * Ensures that benefit and payroll files are up-to-date and obtains missing information while maintaining confidentiality * Compiles and prepares payroll data for full-time employees, part-time employees and Minor League players; assists in the biweekly upload to our payroll system, ADP * Organizes monthly staff events to help increase interdepartmental socialization * Polls electronic time clocks and reviews the downloaded information for completeness and accuracy. * Communicates with employees regarding payroll issues and troubleshooting the self-service portal.

* Helped organize the 2011 Sports Internship & Career Fair for 22 organizations and over 500 participants * Audited monthly benefits invoice for over 250 major and minor league players * Arranged player signing bonuses to be sent to payroll * Planned the phone interview schedule for 150 prospective interns and assisted with phone interviews * Assisted in organizing and acted as the main client contact for a charity event raising $40,000 for the Minnesota Military Family Foundation * Completed administrative duties as needed for the Human Resources department * Attended the 2011 Recruiting Diversity Best Practices Online Conference
