● Write detailed daily reports about each infant. ● Check room daily to makes sure everything is to state code. ● Document any injuries acquired during the school day and give the parent(s) detailed explanations. ● Scribe detailed reports for children in the care of CPS. ● Work on and improve upon the infant’s development of fine motor skills during the first year of life.

I have been nannying for one family in Chapel Hill, NC for three years. I take care of their three children as well as friends of the children for playdates. I enjoy this work due to my love for child psychology.

Based off of my mentor program work in high school I was able to successfully run the office at Tempest Environmental. I improved my Word Document, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint skills. I handled the new construction site for the new office, handled phone calls from customers as well as clients. I planned luncheon meetings. I also oversaw the four office managers during their work for the Virginia Health Department. I also helped with the work done in Alaska for the Anchorage Fire Department. I also worked with the engineers and learned how to read CAD drawings.

I helped assist art teachers during summer camps. I took care of students during recess, cleaned the class room, prepped activities, and checked lunches for allergy items. I also assisted drama camps as well and put together screen plays and talent shows that the children preformed for their families.

● Shadowed Ms. Lee during meetings with faculty on campus to assist in getting buildings to federal code. ● Sat in on the Durham Mayor’s Committee for Disabilities for monthly meetings and the beginning stages of their first scholarship ● Assisted students to make sure they received the correct testing accommodations and returned exams after completion. ● Volunteered several events: ZumbaFEST, All Family Matters Movie Night, Real Talk Panel ● Created a new program called “Let’s Talk About Sex” concerning the stereotypes of the disability community regarding reproduction and intimate relationships.
