In this role, I am responsible for creating a positive and consistent image of the veterinary clinic through various marketing relationships and across social media platforms. The communications manager speaks with local organizations to maintain public relations and to participate in events around Franklin and the greater Nashville area. This role collaborates closely with the hospital administrator and the business partners to enhance the perspective of our clinic and attract new clients.

-Preformed diagnostic tasks, placed IV catheters for surgery patients, collected medical histories, ran lab tests with blood and urine specimens. -Assisted veterinarians filling medications, relaying information to clients and suggesting parasite preventatives, wellness products and prescription diets for approximately sixty pet clients per day. -Prepped patients and performed anesthetic dental procedures, communicated with clients about the status and postoperative care and recommended various dental products for high quality oral care

-Preformed simple diagnostic tasks, administered shots, collected blood, monitored vitals during surgery, preformed dental cleanings, collected radiographs -Served as a liaison between client and veterinarian regarding treatments, concerns or other recommendations -Answered calls and online chats to schedule hospital and grooming appointments, refilled medications, follow up on patients, correspond with doctors, technicians and grooming staff.

-Administered massage, orthopedic and laser therapies, ESTEM, TENS as well as various forms of hydrotherapy. -Responsible for caring for boarded dogs, cleaning kennels. -Scheduling new appointments, documenting notes from the clients' visits. -Set up treatment appointments and scheduled veterinary consultations for approximately 15-20 animals per day. -Reviewed pet records from daily visits, entering all important data into system and collected medical history from speaking with clients. -Answered pet owner phone calls and responded to questions while taking messages for staff veterinarians. -Trained new employees on SOPs
