I studied dynamic resource allocation algorithms for multi-users OFDM systems with selective fading. By means of linear programming techniques we solved optimization problems deriving from resource allocation algorithms. Our goal was the improvement of capacity minimizing the transmission power and guaranteeing QoS to users. This project was executed in collaboration with Universities of Torino, Roma, Padova and Palermo.

* Assessment analysis and Certification, Validation and Acceptance tests in VoIP class 5 Solutions (H323 and SIP) in Telecom Italia’s projects for Business Customer and in projects for OLO, Enterprise and Public Sector Market. * Providing LLD Documentation, configuration batches and troubleshooting about: * Italtel SoftSwitch, Load Balancer SIP and Signaling Gateway H323; * Acme Packet Session Border Control; * Cisco Routers and Switches. * TAC3 support to production network

* Deep knowledge of UTRAN network architecture and new HSDPA/HSUPA services. In particular issues related to PS services focused towards resources allocation aspects over Uu interface (scheduler), towards ATM transport network layer aspects over Iub and towards aspects related to end-to-end transport protocol TCP and UDP. * Testing activity in laboratory oriented to verify the correctness of call handling procedures and including also hardware, software and firmware upgrade of NodeB and RNC as well as their database management and configuration. * Performance optimization of UTRAN live networks, checked by the means of Key Performance Indicator. * Management and execution tests for acceptance and validation of new product release c.o. NSN customers. * Responsible of VITAC (Virtual Technical Assistance Center) meeting dedicated to discussion and solution of the troubles experienced in NSN customers networks. * Interface towards R&D Department in order to solve HW/SW faults
