Corey Arnold

Photographer. Alaska Commercial Fisherman. Father. Corey Arnold is an award winning photographer known internationally for his gritty and unique blend of documentary and fine art storytelling often focused around working people, environment, and adventure. At the heart of his portraiture work, a sense of authenticity, personal connection and heroic purpose are common threads that bring his still images to life. From advertising, to editorial, and fine art, Corey has created major campaigns for Army, Apple, Danner Boots, Alaskan Hardgear, Subaru, and worked on assignment for National Geographic, New York Times, Outside, Time, Men’s Journal and many others. Arnold’s ongoing Fish-Work series explores the gritty lifestyle of seafaring men and women around the world, including his own seasonal fish camp in Alaska, where he continues a dual career as a commercial fisherman. This ongoing series has exhibited worldwide and is included in numerous collections including the Portland Art Museum and the Center for Creative Photography. Arnold is based in the Columbia River Gorge in Washington state where he’s teaching his two toddlers the fine art of rural animal tracking.
