I'm a finance guy with a bent for accounting, especially when it comes to equity compensation. I like analyzing how fluctuations in stock prices and tax rates affect the bottom lines for expense, EPS, and tax reports. Outside of Excel, programming was once my kryptonite, but my intermediate mastery of SAS and best-practice methodologies have enabled me to manipulate template code into fully-customized client reports. Although my modeling career didn't exactly takeoff, my financial modeling skill set did. I've projected income statements, balance sheets, stock price valuations, and terminal values for M&A's and leveraged buy-outs. Whether it's accounting, finance, or fantasy football, numbers are my life.
