Collaborate with a student-run team to prepare prosecution and defense arguments for the yearly case released by the American Mock Trial Association (AMTA). Participate in several AMTA-sanctioned competitions a semester. Learn courtroom skills and become familiar with the American criminal justice system.

Georgetown’s official student government. Work closely with the GUSA Treasury Department to manage the organization’s budget and allocate funds to other student organizations. Communicate directly with the administration regarding student finances. As Deputy Treasurer for Fundraising, I am responsible for developing and executing fundraising campaigns to contribute to the budget.

Answer calls and emails from constituents about federal benefits, immigration, veterans’ services, and legislative concerns. Work closely with the U.S. Social Security Administration and other federal departments. Research constituent demographics to compile data for staff.

Collaborate with student team to produce weekly 30-minute political news segment, Talking Points. Develop story ideas, pitch to executive producers, and produce audio/graphics. Collected and analyzed live polling data from mainstream sources and conducted student interviews for 2024 Presidential Election Special.

Sing, choreograph, and arrange music for SU’s premiere all-male, orange-pants-wearing a cappella group. Perform at gigs, invitationals, and fundraising events for student, University, alumni, and community groups. Annually partner with Testicular Cancer Foundation to raise awareness, encourage screening, and raise money for research ($18,000+ in fall 2024).

Organized and led monthly panels where high schoolers spoke to local middle schoolers about difficult topics like bullying, peer pressure, and internet safety. Worked closely with co-founders and school administrators to confirm content and determine logistics. Used personal anecdotes and real-life examples of how older students navigated challenging situations during middle school; sparked discourse with the middle schoolers to help them work through their problems.
