Worked with the business to develop automated "custom" packages for insurance clients based on the various rating scenarios and group sizes. Worked with the vendor to develop the packages design, conducted significant testing (logic based) and worked through implementation. Developed process flow and operating procedures for the Project Management Office. Identified detailed enhancement required, developed test plans and test cases, and conducted functional and business tests for the underwriting department.

Built the analytics team while the organization was developing their analytical tool. The team of 8 developed analytical tools and dashboards for the fleet team and the facilities team. Also built multiple dashboards for various fleet clients to enable them to see their data and the performance of their units.

Conducted complete process reviews (current state, future state and gap analysis). Developed wire frames for the mobile claims reporting (vehicle insurance claims).

Led ongoing business optimization activities in the fleet and facility business areas, focusing on increased productivity after a major system implementation. Activities included fit-gap analysis, identification of required technology and subsequent implementation, development and delivery of training materials, change management and coaching/mentoring

Assisted with the implementation of a COTS capital and operating budgeting system. Facilitated workshops (present/future state identification, gap analysis, requirements identification, process flow mapping). Developed testing plans and scenarios and conducted testing. Developed training materials. The new COTS system integrated with PeopleSoft (payroll) and SAP (financials).

The project was a migration of healthcare payroll om various legacy systems to PeopleSoft. My role involved the analysis of data in legacy systems, data mapping from the legacy systems to PeopleSoft, identification of data that would not migrate and risk analysis with business (for non-converted data). Developed a tracking and reporting system for each healthcare location.

The project was a major transformation initiative in the fleet department. My role involved mapping of current and future state, gap analysis, contribution to the business requirements document, development of process flows using Visio, and development of standard operating procedures). SAP was used for the fleet management system. This was migrated to a COTS project that had significant customization and interfaces with both SAP (financials, fuel inventory, part inventory) and PeopleSoft (payroll).

Developed tender documentation for several government procurement opportunities (armoured car service for negotiable instruments, courier services, transport services, mail delivery services). The documentation included the Request For Proposal development and detailed scoring for subsequent contract award.

Managed the benefits section for the corporation. The business area included approximately 100 employees of which there were 4 managers and 7 supervisors. The areas under my supervision included the pension benefits, pension payroll and the member experience contact center. I took the management of this section after a major pension software implementation. The work during my four years was primarily around business stabilization, process efficiency and productivity improvement.
