About
I work with boards and leadership teams at moments that matter most—when strategy must shift, governance must strengthen, and the path forward is not immediately clear. My background spans operating and strategic leadership across Fortune 500 strategy, Fortune 1000 corporate development, and public company CEO leadership. That combination allows me to see both the direction an organization needs to take—and the realities of executing against it. In my board work, I am often engaged in situations where the environment is evolving: • strategic inflection points • transformation or repositioning • CEO succession and leadership alignment • capital allocation and M&A decisions These are moments where strong governance alone is not enough. They require judgment, pattern recognition, and the ability to challenge assumptions while maintaining alignment between the board and management team. I tend to be most effective in complex environments—where conditions are shifting, signals are not yet obvious, and decisions carry long-term consequence. My contribution is grounded in integrating strategy with execution, and helping boards act with clarity before inflection points fully materialize. In addition to my board roles, I serve as Vice Chair of PANARCHY, where we explore organizations as complex, adaptive systems. This perspective informs how I think about governance, resilience, and leadership in a world where traditional linear models are increasingly insufficient. I welcome conversations with boards, investors, and leaders navigating consequential decisions.
