Served as the Fire Support Officer for an organization of over 50 Soldiers. Acted as the “Eyes and Ears” for the Brigade. Responsible for advising a Troop Commander and selling him my unit’s capabilities. Planned, coordinated, and executed fire support plans while being responsible for the accountability and maintenance of over $1,500,000 worth of associated equipment. Led a fire support team during a one-month training event at the National Training Center in Fort Irwin, California. Was selected out of 15 teams to conduct a coordinated live fire event with U.S. Air Force assets.

Deployed to a foreign country leading an organization of 35 Soldiers, to include 8 managers and 1 subordinate officer. Accountable for the care and maintenance of ten military vehicles and a platoon’s worth of equipment in excess of $20,000,000. Planned and coordinated training for over 100 Soldiers, managed the property books for a Field Artillery Firing Battery and was selected to be the funds custodian for the unit. Trained from individual tasks to operating as a battery and conducted joint training with the Republic of Korea Army. Sponsored a Cadet and taught him expectations and key tasks of an Army Lieutenant. Was the only Platoon Leader to complete the Artillery Skills Proficiency Test with soldiers and became certified to chief a Paladin during live fire operations. Selected to be the Officer in Charge of a firing point and conducted a 17-day operation in support of a maneuver battalion and planned/executed a Joint Air Attack Team with U.S. Air Force assets.

Member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band, the nation’s largest military marching band, and held leadership positions senior and junior year. * Member of the Corps of Cadets, held leadership positions senior, junior, and sophomore year; was awarded best sophomore in Outfit of 90 cadets. * Enlisted member of the Texas National Guard from March 2010 until graduation in 2013. Actively drilled with the 111th Engineer Battalion once a month and conducted yearly summer training to include Airborne School and Leadership Development and Assessment Course.
