Cole Cappell, CPA

With over five years of experience in various roles and asset classes within commercial real estate, I am a CPA with expertise in finance and underwriting. I have a proven track record of delivering value-added solutions for complex and diverse real estate projects, ranging from ground-up mixed-use condo developments to M&A and advisory transactions. Most recently, I was the sole finance employee for Kin Capital Partners, a real estate private equity and advisory company, where I oversaw asset management, reporting, underwriting, and capital formation functions. I also led the underwriting and advising for M&A and financing opportunities, and helped create new investment vehicles. Prior to that, I was the financial lead for CreateTO, the City of Toronto's real estate agency, where I managed the Housing Now portfolio and the ModernTO program. I also have experience in residential development and REIT portfolio analysis from my previous role at Groupe Forum.
