Project Marketing and Event Coordinator for Institute of Coding, organising events for the faculty and working on projects and new campaigns for IoC.

Serving breakfast and dinner for guests, also helping in the kitchen with preparation and pot wash. Stripping and cleaning bedrooms, tidying open areas including the pool and gym.

Fast pace bar work at various events and festivals such as Take That in Huddersfield and Rod Steward in York, keeps me pro-active and develops my insight into the event industry.

The majority of my time here was in The Grille at Lakeside which was a casual, fast pace dining experience where members would come with their families to enjoy the beautiful lake view and great food. I worked various fine dining events in the Gallery such as the Seafood Buffet, Al a Carte, Thanks Giving and many more. - Providing excellent customer service to members at all times, making sure to welcome them by name and service is personalised to each individual member by going above and beyond to cater to their wants and needs - Ability to work effectively in a team through efficient communication and understanding the kitchen, colleagues and members needs when service is at its busiest. - Informing members and their guests of the specials and able to answer any dietary questions about the dishes on the menu - Preparing the dining area for the next day’s lunch or dinner service.

Ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment in the Beach Club and Clubhouse - Worked within a team of diverse people of varied ages and skills ability to guarantee lunch and dinner service went smoothly every day - Assisted set up and serve multiple banquet events such as: weddings, golf events, birthday parties, 4th of July and member guest competitions. I confidently assisted the event manager with any tasks given to me that varied from communicating with guests to the successful break down of the event. - Maintained a clean and healthy working environment by following the health and safety procedures which ensured the stock stations, main dining areas and side stations were ready for service and that hygiene was always at a maximum.

Greeting customers as they approach the check out area with a warm welcome and a smile. My main responsibility would be to make sure that the customers experience in store is the best that we can do, and ensuring they found everything that they needed. Being able to answer any queries about our products and services and resolving any problems to the best of my knowledge. Working efficiently in a team and professional when handling cash.
