CL Tian is the CEO and Co-Founder of Phiex Technologies, an award-winning platform pioneering self-sterilizing materials for medtech, healthcare, and beyond. Phiex provides a safer, cost-effective, and latency-reducing alternative to traditional terminal sterilization methods, enabling medtech to deliver life-saving devices more efficiently. Phiex’s accolades include being named Global Champion of Medtech Innovator—voted #1 among 1,000+ companies worldwide by medtech industry leaders—and winning the Vision Award at the Wilson Sonsini Medical Device Conference. The company also was awarded the Mass NextGen Fellowship by the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center for cutting-edge women-led life sciences companies. Previously, CL founded a business development and marketing agency supporting innovative technologies across healthcare, SaaS, B2B services, and education. She has served as a mentor at Babson's WIN Lab and Wellesley's WeStart and as President of ACE NextGen Boston. A magna cum laude graduate of Wellesley College, she speaks Mandarin, Japanese, and Korean.
