Assisted the public utility team with project management and design for large and small cities in Oregon. Daily tasks included plan set generation, design calculations for pump stations and other process equipment, cost estimating, plan set review, project scheduling, creating technical reports such as studies, preliminary and predesign reports. Other work included hydraulic modeling, reviewing material submittals, conducting pre-construction meetings, bid documents, technical specifications, project coordination with public and governing agencies, progress payments to contractors, and project close out documents.

Responsibilities included management of multiple small and large scale projects, management of the hydrant meter program, land use development review, hydraulic modeling in InfoWater from client requests, generating project plan sets, project plan set reviews, bid documents, and project close out documents. Additional work included field inspections, project cost estimating, project material submittals review, asbuilt generation, contractor progress payments related to projects, annexations into CRW district, and quality analysis/quality check of technical documents from private engineering firms.

Actively assisted with modeling, design, planning, specifications, O&M manuals, permitting, for various water, wastewater and transportation projects. Daily work includes designing infrastructure projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D, running storm water calculations using hydrology and area characteristics, reviewing submittals and payment requests from contractors, and preparing documents such as specifications and design standards for the various municipalities the Dyer Partnership serves throughout Oregon. Field work includes surveying, field observations, resolving onsite issues with contractors, and answering any questions the contractors may have concerning the plan set and specifications.
