Served as local counsel. Responsibilities included researching insurance law, and drafting and filing pleadings for plaintiffs filing suit against insurance companies concerning unpaid property insurance claims.

Managed day-to-day operations for a 4,000 acre farming operation. Interviewed and evaluated personnel. Managed all aspects of financial and operational planning, payroll and employee performance; responsible for profit attainment. Planned company operations. Managed budgetary and purchasing functions. Implemented new techniques and procedures that increased productivity and lowered costs.

Responsibilities included legal research and analysis on state and federal statutory and case law, and writing State’s answers in opposition to defendants’ applications for post-conviction relief, defendants’ appeals, and defendants’ writ applications. Worked in trial section one from January 2008 to present during which time responsibilities have included prosecuting misdemeanor and felony offenses.

Conducted legal research as directed by attorneys in the areas of products liability and workman’s compensation. Assisted firm Partners by conducting factual and legal research, as well as investigating matters for client cases files. Drafted motions for summary judgment.

Handle research and drafting of pleadings for non-subscriber personal injury claims, and employment law claims.
