► Lead writer and data analyst on UN's VARON 2017 report (key annual report on cross-sectoral vulnerabilities of Iraqi, Sudanese and other non-Syrian refugees in Lebanon) https://reliefweb.int/report/lebanon/vulnerability-assessment-refugees-other-nationalities-lebanon-2017) ► Facilitated multiple data analysis workshops, including spearheading a series of inter-sectoral field-level discussions for the major annual Vulnerability Assessment of Syrian Refugees in Lebanon (VASyR). ► Designed and managed roll-out of collective shelter mapping app to track vulnerabilities of residents and inform programming. ► Technical advice on statistical sampling and assessment methodologies, including an internet-of-things temperature monitoring study.

► Data analysis, research and monitoring for donor governments on largest security & justice program in northern Syria. ► Gave in-person and written briefings on conflict dynamics to European ambassadors and senior diplomats. ► Ran analysis and training workshops in Arabic with groups of Syrian field officers. ► Managed production of and wrote bimonthly reports based on qualitative and quantitative data collected across multiple communities. ► Designed qualitative research tools for key informant interviews and focus group discussions. ► Led ad hoc research projects on security and justice environment. ► Developed new data analysis system using Kobo/Excel; significantly improved efficiency and objectivity of team's reporting.

► Founded as part of an interest in ethical alternatives to conventional finance and the socially responsible principles of Islamic banking. Led committee of 12 members. ► Inaugural event, led by Baroness Warsi, was attended by 200 people and reported on 15 online media outlets including an editorial in The Gulf Times. Other events included highly-respected Islamic finance specialists such as Farmida Bi, Tarek el-Diwany and Harris Irfan. ► Secured sponsorship from KPMG, Norton Rose Fulbright, EIIB and Gatehouse Bank. Created website and branding; ran three social media sites. ► Published article on differences between Islamic Finance in Iran and Middle East in The Islamic Banker.
