At Frontline Manufacturering I lead the CNC department. My responsibilities include ensuring the machines are running,minimising down time by planning and coordinating the work flow through the department. Additionally programming,setting and operating CNC machine tools forms part of the day to day responsibilities Programing responsibilities: - Creating NC Code for 3 and 3+1 Axis Milling Centres using Autodesk Fusion 360 CAM Software - Designing set up / tool sheets with clear instructions to minimise machine down time. - Ordering cutting tools from various tool suppliers - Designing jigs and fixtures. Machining responsibilities: - Set and operate CNC milling machine's - Machining components to the highest standards,maintaining tight tolerances and good surface finishes. The workpieces range from large fabricated components to small raw stock out of a host of different materials such as Titanium,Armox 400 and 600 grade,Bis-Aloy, 4140,Stainless steel 7000 series aluminium.

Worked on a variety of CNC lathes with Fanuc control machining larger components of 400mm diameter and up. Operated a Mazak Mill-turn lathe machining micron tolerance Excitor Shafts for the mining industry. Conventional (manual) lathe work for the agriculture industry Maching,re-facing and scrolling, flanges for the sugar Mills on a Horizontal Boring Machine.

Setting and operating 5 axis CNC milling machine's with Heidenhain, Mazatrol and Fanuc controls. Maching different materials from aerospace aluminums to heat treated and hardened steels. Machine tools : DMG Morri 5 Axis Mill Mazak Rotary Bed 4/5 Axis Mill Makino Horizontal 4 Axis Mill DN Solutions (Doosan) 3 Axis Mill DMG Morri Rotary Bed 4/5 Axis Mill Programing,setting and operating a mill turn CNC lathe with Siemens control. Maching aluminium and steel components for the aerospace industry.

({Milling}) Machining small to large (3000mm x 1200mm) components for the aerospace industry on a variety of 5 axis machine tools out of different difficult to machine materials such as titanium,stainless steel and aluminium. ({Turning}) Heavy machining for the defence industry (800kg+ components) as well large scale repair work for the oil and gas industry.

Specializing in high precision big turning components. Programming,setting and machining the parts on CNC turning centers out of exotic materials for the marine and aerospace industries.

Set and operated a Water jet Machine Programmed the machine as well.
