Research Projects: • Experiments in Shale Gas to obtain petrophysical properties from imbibition/ion diffusion/absorption/adsorption mechanisms to improve hydraulic fracturing design and characterization. • Using water chemical data for stimulated Rock Volume modelling in Shale Gas Reservoirs to understand the natural fractures network. • Organic rich mudrocks resistivity modeling to improve resources estimation. • Characterizing the hydraulic fracture high salinity flow observation in organic rich source rock to understand hydraulic fracture development.

1. Lead the planning and execution of the complete set of data acquisition in all the wells in two different fields, working with a multidisciplinary team that includes drilling, subsurface and well completion groups. 2. Be responsible for delivering the analysis of the wireline (open and cased hole) and LWD logs in a very deep and complex unconventional reservoir (Tight gas), with emphasis on image and pressure logs using Techlog and Geolog as software packages. 3. Be the leader for providing petrophysical understanding to support reservoir studies, new well productivity, future workovers and well placement. 4. Be responsible for planning and executing all the coring operation and be the person in charge of delivering the basic and special core analysis working side by side with the most important core laboratories in the industry. 4. Be the person responsible in the company for looking new technology in terms of tools and evaluation techniques in order to maximizing the data acquisition in a very cost effective scenario.

• Responsible for planning, executing and analyzing data acquisition programs including LWD, open / cased hole logs and coring operations. • Supervise logging and coring data acquisition program at the field to ensure a safe operation and a high-quality product. • Execute petrophysical analysis on both, onshore and offshore exploration and development fields, including log and core analysis, electro-facies correlation, and production data. • Petrophysical and geologic core description in conventional and unconventional fields. • Complete Petrophysical model for a Tight Gas Field by rock typing analysis and integrating static and dynamic approaches. • Evaluate and perform volumetric reserves evaluation. • Responsible for mentoring and deliver petrophysical training courses to young professionals.
