Regional Manager over all of Capital Care Group Homes

Currently, I work closely with the director of regulations to ensure that the homes within the company are to a high standard and would meet CQC regulations, striving for rating of Good and Above. I am working alongside the director of regulations to develop and distribute audit tools to ensure clear governance across the company. I also complete site visits across multiple homes to assess standards and adherence to policies and governance. I am also the organisations IPC lead ensuring that any national guidance are maintained within the delivery of social care. I am kept in date with current research and products and successfully network with various companies that provide services and equipment. I am currently working with NHS England on an IPC pilot which aims to promote national standards of cleanliness across social care.

Within this role I supported the clinical nurse leads, home managers, care managers and the directors of two specialist nursing homes. I successfully promoted leadership, education, research and quality care delivery throughout the company. I promoted education through successful networking and relationship building with a local university which lead to the accreditation of Pre-registration placements within one of our homes for nursing students. I promoted quality care delivery by conducting audits within several departments and assessed the quality of audits carried out by other staff members. I also created and delivered a range of training to improve the quality care delivery, ensuring care is kept in line with current research and government/local guidelines.
