I was chosen to work as a teaching assistant for the first and second year computational mathematics modules, along with helping out in other classes. In this I had to help teach the students, assisted with examinations and worked with the lectures to monitor the progress of the module. I also took Maths Aid sessions where students from any part of the university could come and ask mathematical questions.

Working part time as a model which involves greeting customers, serving, cleaning and maintaining the presentation of the shop floor and proving impeccable customer service.

I joined a team of staff to configure an equipment management database which was spread across a variety of groups within the company. In this I worked with many departments collecting data, communicating different requirements that are needed and helping design and set the software up to meet these.

This degree entailed a combination of pure mathematics, mathematical modelling, computation and statistics. In my finial year I carried out an individual project titled “MATLAB software used to obtain infrared reflectance measurements using a Fourier Transform Spectrometer”. In this I worked with the National Physical Laboratory, as my client, to produce much needed software to make the processing of calculations more suitable.
