My role at WECS has been to put all technical procedures in place so that BRC could be gained. I implemented policies, procedure, audits, records etc. Before I started a supermarket customer had done a site audit, this resulted in a lot of actions. I first tackled all these actions. We then had a re-audit which was successful. I then gained the SALSA accreditation, shortly followed by the BRC V6 (grade A)

The packaging role has given me a good insight to Greencell. Whilst my job title is packaging co-ordinator I have also been part of the Operation of Greencell. I worked very closely with the Operations Manager, and help with their everyday needs. This is some parts of my role I complete on a day-to-day basis:

A highly efficient, methodical and talented quality manager who has considerable experience of developing and implementing effective quality control processes and structures in a manufacturing and corporate environment. Possessing a good understanding of the essentials of safety and quality. Strong customer service experience, and a background of achievement in supporting all levels of management & working to set schedules and deadlines. Is to maintain all procedures, policies, audits, records and labs up to date. I currently look after 2 sites with QC’s being based at both sites. I am responsible for all the quality areas within the business. I also look for any potential business opportunities and visit suppliers and customers. Both of my sites are unannounced BRC audited. With gaining grade A+ at one site and AA+ at the other, both on Version 7.
