* Setting accounts work for our junior accounts staff and reviewing the accounts they prepare from the core records provided by the client * Preparing personal and company tax returns and submitting them to HM Revenue and Customs * Training junior members of staff and monitoring their progress

* Manage team of 4 people * My team is responsible for the monthly balance sheet and cash flow reporting to Head Office – I oversee the preparation of the reporting packs for month end, half year and year end and coordinate the submissions. * Management of the relationship with the outsourcing team in India ensuring that the tasks performed are accurate and delivered in a timely manner. * Management of the UK and European statutory accounts process and coordination of the individual statutory accounts audits. * Identifying and driving continuous improvements of my team’s processes ensuring they are efficient and robust controls are in place.
