I work in an extremely busy Bistro & Bar serving a mixture of regular locals and returning visitors. This job encompasses; customer service, time management, the ability to think under pressure and to liaise with a large number of co-workers in a wide range of positions.

Part of the diploma I am studying requires a practicle component. I am part of a team managing the project 'Kids Area' The event encompasses environmental sustainability, sustainable innovation and teaching kids of all ages about how they can do their part to help look after the environment. I will be managing a team of volunteers, leaseing with other project managers from other projects, reporting to a coordinator and finally reviewing the project and making changes to anything that requires attention.

I provide excellent customer service to all guests. My position involves making coffee, mixing juices, smoothies and delivering food. I also complete stock ordering, stock counts and work with a cash register.

I managed a team of roughly 50 people, and leased with the restaurant manager, kitchen manager and franchises. I implemented a new roster system, worked on contingency plans, ordered stock and conducted stock-take.

Worked in all departments of the store and learnt how a large company operates.
