Working as Software Engineer at Developer Platform team. - Led the GCP stackdriver deprecation via Humio/Crowdstrike integration, achieved a major cost reduction of ~$2.19M/year ongoing infrastructure. demonstrated ownership and initiative for the project, constantly maintaining the integration and resolving issues occurring from integration. - Spearheaded architecture for multi-regional database and Redis strategy, proposing best practices to product engineering team for their architecture stack. • Worked on Duo Network Gateway, a.k.a DNG, reverse proxy server to provide next-gen Zero-Trust protection for access to on-prem websites, web applications, and SSH servers. • Developed Golang virtual interface for SSH client to handle connection through NAT, enabling DNG to coexist with other applications such as VPN. • Integrated CoreDNS docker container custom plugin with redis client to production docker container group, enabling communication between DNG, SSH Client, Redis, and Duo Cloud for access management • Collaborated with UI designers to recreate the error page used in all Duo web-based product, which improved customer experience and reduced amount of customer support ticket • Engineered the extensive integration test to test new functionalities in DNG authorization flow, removing the need for manual testing and providing 5% more line coverage. • Refactored Duoconnect SSH client log system to include log per connection, and thus enabling persistent log tracking and separation of logs, enabling more efficient bug tracking and efficient support escalation handling.
