Cia Ricco

Based on her own life experiences and Buddhist background, Cia Ricco has honed her craft for over 35 years as a psychotherapist, coach, teacher and author. She founded Visions and Dreams for Creative Learning, Inc., a 501c3 to help youth in need. Cia now trains therapists in body-centered work. Cia built and ran a retreat center in Costa Rica for over 15 years where she founded a micro-lending bank to help local women. There she continued conducting programs for at–risk and disenfranchised youth while running healing retreats for adults and commuting to the US to teach workshops. Currently living in Sarasota, Florida, Cia works with individuals, couples, and families via Zoom. She also runs private in-person healing and recovery retreats and psychotherapeutic intensives out of her home, as well as leading group retreats and trainings nationally and internationally. Her current passion is a series of Deep Dive Psychotherapeutic Retreats featuring optional psychedelic-assisted therapy series to increase depth of perception, heal from trauma, overcome fear of death, and deepen your connection with All That Is. Ricco’s books and audio books include Living As If Your Life Depended On It, From Self-Worth to Net Worth, Inner Seasons, Learning to Love Yourself, and Manifesting Abundance. Cia was a frequent teacher at centers such as Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, Omega, the NY Open Center, Wainwright House, and many others. Her workshops have included “Create the Life You Want”, “Love Sex and Soul”, “Discovering the Goddess Within”, “Deep Peace”, “Living Ageing, and Dying”, Trainings in Body-Centered Psychotherapy, and others which she is delighted to custom design. She is a professional speaker, had a radio program, and has been a guest on radio shows and podcasts. Cia’s methodology is unique and based upon the Twelve Gateways she has developed and outlined in her first two books. A student, practitioner and teacher of Buddhist and other meditation and healing techniques for over 50 years, Cia brings a sense of safety, serenity, and spirit to her life and work. She is passionate about helping others to heal from trauma and teaching them in turn to access their own inner guidance that they, too, may to live a more integrated, authentic, and conscious and joyful life at any age.
