About
Hi, I’m Chun Siong, but I go by the name Bob. I am an active and outgoing person, I love gathering my friends, we share laughs and tears together. That would be my main reason why I chose to major in PR, I hope my existence can bring happiness to people around me. I think that is how I got my title, “The Social Butterfly”. To build and maintain a good relationship with other people is very important and useful for the future, whether it is for academic, work, or other purposes. Besides, I like to meet new people along the way and find ways to communicate with different people around the world. I pretty much enjoy interacting with other people since I’m a chatterbox. Being in the PR work field has challenges, but I am always ready to solve any problems ahead of me. I consider myself as a cooperative member, I try my best in teamwork projects even if it is not a part of what I’m good at. I often voice out opinions or suggestions to give a piece of my own idea, it may help change the overall plan. I might not be a quick learner, but I am passionate and willing to learn new things. - Proofread the import documents to ensure all the details are correct - Dealing with suppliers and traders for orders and payment - Liaise with the forwarder to track shipments for our containers (ETA & ETD) - Communicate with the forwarder where to place and when to pull out the containers - Brainstorm brand name for new series of products - Stock balance checking and make order planning - Observe the sales reports and make adjustments - Record monthly attendance for office staff and foreign workers through ZKTeco according to their punch card and leave form - Calculate monthly wages for farm workers - Renew foreign workers' insurance and permit - Apply special pass and check out memo for foreign workers when it is necessary - Book flight ticket for foreign workers who wish to return to their home country - Purchase medical form and liaise with branch admin to bring foreign workers for Fomema (medical check up) - Liaise with Puspakom agent for lorry's road tax renewal and inspection service - Design job vacancy poster for Facebook posting - Handle email and phone inquiries
