Contracted to work 6-12 months with the Development Authority Board of Directors members and in coordination with the elected officials and staff to develop economic development recruitment and existing industry expansion programs for jobs and capital investment in each County. Assist the board in administration and management, including inventorying available properties, facilitating a strategic plan, assisting in the creation and implementation of a marketing plan, working with existing industries, recruitment of commercial and industrial companies, and recruitment for a permanent Executive Director.

As a Realtor in the Golden Isles, assists in the residential and commercial markets both on the buyers and the sellers side. I am also a member of the Georgia Mountain and Lakes Realtor Association. (White, Habersham and Rabun Counties, Georgia).

The purpose of the Development Authority is to promote new industry and existing industry expansion in the City of Brunswick and Glynn County Georgia. In order to fulfill this responsibility, we engage in various economic development activities that include but are not limited to: Conducting an aggressive marketing campaign for industrial and commercial prospects Developing industrial parks and freestanding industrial sites for use by expanding and new businesses Maintaining legislative liaison with local, state, and national legislative delegationsThe Brunswick and Glynn County Development Authority works to package appropriate incentives to recruit new industry including the following: Issuing bonds to finance loans for industrial development Offering tax exemptions for unfinished goods that move through the Port of Brunswick. Working with the State Department of Economic Development to package local and state incentives together – with the state providing tax incentives for new or existing industries that generate job growth

Contracted to work with the Long County Board of Commissioners. Direct the daily operations of the government of Long County Georgia. Also since October of 2018 Contracted to be the Executive Director of the Development Authority of Long County. Work with the Board of Directors members and in coordination with the elected officials and staff to develop economic development recruitment and existing industry expansion programs for jobs and capital investment in Brantley County.

Executive Director Brunswick and Glynn County Development Authority December 2013 – Present (1 month)Golden Isles Georgia, Brunswick, Jekyll Island and St. Simons Island Under the general direction of the Brunswick and Glynn County Development Authority Board of Directors, and in concert with the Brunswick City Council and Glynn County Commission Board, the executive director's role is to lead the economic development effort for the Citizens of Glynn County. This includes strategic planning, product development, consensus building, marketing and other endeavors which result in new industrial recruitment, existing industry retention and expansion, small business and entrepreneurial development, and general business support. The executive director leads a team with support from the development authority board members, elected and appointed officials, technical college, career academy, and K-12 and other education officials, the Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce, and the Golden Isles Convention and Visitor's Bureau, and various stakeholder groups and individuals.
