Developing and delivering a HR strategy that meets Astral Aviation's business needs. Provide guidance, support, and advice on the recruitment, training development, and motivation of staff. Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, maintain accurate HR records, and provide regular HR reports and insights to senior management. Leading employee relations reviews and investigations, give a summary of findings in a written report, and present report findings to the Chief Operating Officer and the company lawyer. Ensuring that a robust performance management system is in place in the whole company Leading the HR department to deliver cost-effective, and high-quality services. Monitoring the implementation of human resource management, developing policies, rules, and regulations, and analyzing their impact on employees. In a Proactive way use trend data and other resources to prevent or reduce employee relations issues and address areas requiring attention through the implementation of additional controls. Lead a human resource planning and utilization of human resources effectively. Coordinating training and human resource development activities and overseeing the development of training projections and plans Develop and implement training programs to enhance skills, career growth, promote coaching and mentorship, and improve overall organizational performance. Validation and authentication of academic and professional certificates in liaison with the relevant institutions. Support other employee programs to provide Employee Engagement support. Coordinating and preparing payroll in time.

Assist in the recruitment from sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding top talent that aligns with Astral aviation strategy. Investigation of employee misconduct, fraud, harassment and violation of Astral code of conduct Manage employee records like their attendance and time off Keeping track of employee paperwork and answering any queries that touch on Security and Human resources. Ensured compliance with labour laws, rules, regulations, and best practices. Recording and processing confidential information, processing payroll, and assisting in documentation of employee benefits and compensation. Briefing, and supervision for allocation of tasks and responsibilities for the operational performance. Oversee and supervise third-party security services for the overall safety and security of staff, company customers, and equipment. Accurately compile and update on all crimes committed. Ensure staff attendance to all required meetings and training advancement of Security and Human Resources agenda. Represent Security and Human Resources in other operational stakeholder meetings including but not limited to Ops review meetings. In liaison with related process owners, ensure nil aircraft security violations at all times and ensure strict access control into/out of aircraft hangers. Ensure prompt response to emergencies at Base and off-airport sites such as perimeter intrusion, power outages, and Fires. Protect staff from harassment and assault while on duty. Ensure that 3rd party security adheres to SLAs and company security standards at all times.

Ensured security of Astral Aviation Aircraft and premises, airport operational areas, and off-airport sites. Provided prompt investigation reports to the Head of Security of cases reported. Ensured that third-party security adhered to the Service level agreements. Investigation of cases of crime related to sexual harassment and abuse Ensure compliance with Civil Aviation Security Regulations through updated security policies and procedures.
